Big River Ramblers will be showcasing their talents on the Rothesay Common Stage on Thursday, August 13 at 7pm for the Concert in the Common. Take your evening walk, bring your blanket/chair, and enjoy free outdoor music.
Parking: Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 31 Gondola Point Road
Rain Location: If the weather is inclement, the concert will be held at Wells Community Centre, 75 French Village Road, Rothesay.
About the Band: From the dirt roads and backwoods of Kings County come the Big River Ramblers. With their brand of homegrown honkytonk this five-piece country/rock ensemble brings an energetic mix of foot-stompin original compositions that will have you crying in your beer, dancing holes in your boots, and everything in between. Inspired by the likes of Waylon Jennings and Steve Earle you can expect a heavy dose of telecaster twang, red-hot mandolin pickin’ and lyrics full of local flavour. Hot on the heels of their debut album “Never Not Givin’ Er” the boys are pleased to be the soundtrack to your party.
