Pedestrian Struck by Vehicle in Quispamsis Hit-and-Run

A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle while crossing at the intersection of Hampton Road and Pettingill Road in Quispamsis on the evening of Dec. 19. The vehicle, described as a newer dark blue or black SUV with distinctive head and tail lights spanning from one side to the other, fled the scene immediately after the incident. The pedestrian’s injuries are unknown at this time, and police are urging anyone with information to come forward. The vehicle was last seen heading onto Pettingill Road. Authorities are seeking the public’s assistance in locating the suspect vehicle and identifying the driver involved.
